Hannah Montana, 'Que Sera' -- New Video

Disney

Hannah Montana's new video for 'Que Sera' -- a tune about getting over heartbreak and moving on with your life -- is a dazzling display of stop-motion animation. In the video, Montana and a friend are looking through a photo album when they come across an image of the friend and her ex-boyfriend. The friend tears the photo in two, and Hannah heads into the adjacent studio to record a song to cheer up her buddy.

As Montana sings, the photos in the album spring to life, spilling across the floor in a sequence that shows her friend and the ex scampering across them, and his failing attempts to win her back. At one point he trips in the photo and ends up under Hannah's foot, she holds him there for a few seconds before releasing him, only for him to fall again, as his photo tips over, having been propped up by Hannah's racked guitar.

The clever animation in the video for 'Que Sera' serves to distract the viewer from the fact that, beyond appearing in some of the photos, Hannah Montana doesn't actually feature in the video at all. But then, it's not really her story.
