Top 10 'Glee' Videos
10
'I Dreamed a Dream'
We start our list with the popular 'Les Miserables' song, recently re-popularized by Susan Boyle. The 'Glee' version features Broadway's 'Rent' star Idina Menzel who fans will know as Shelby Corcoran, the coach of the rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline.
09
'Over the Rainbow'
This top 'Glee' video clip features the classic 'Wizard of OZ' song and was used in the Season 1 series finale. Yes, the ukulele version is maybe a bit cheesy, but its familiarity and simplicity gets right to the heart of what the show is all about.
08
'My Life Would Suck Without You'
Kelly Clarkson's 'My Life Would Suck Without You' capped off the half-season mark in December of 2009 in the episode 'Sectionals.' Clarkson would go on to perform this song with 'Glee' cast members on tour, but fans were left thinking life would suck without 'Glee' when they were forced to sit through four idle months before a new episode.
07
'It's My Life / Confessions Pt. II'
06
'Any Way You Want It / Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin''
Continuing with the mash-up theme, these two popular Journey songs are from the first season finale 'Journey to Regionals.' This 'Glee' video includes both the boys and girls on this mash-up, and fans excitedly remember New Directions performing at Regionals in front of celebrity judges Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John.
05
'Halo / Walking on Sunshine'
The last of our mash-up contingency is also from the 'Vitamin D' episode. Comprised of 'Halo' by Beyonce Knowles and 'Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina and the Waves, the girls song from the fan-favorite girls-versus-boys episode expressed their feelings that the world needs more angels and sunshine in such turbulent times.
04
'Don't Rain on My Parade'
Taken from the mid-season finale 'Sectionals' -- in which the New Directions are forced to choose new performance pieces at the last minute -- Rachel's solo performance of the 'Funny Girl' staple 'Don't Rain On My Parade' saw the crowd erupt in a standing ovation.
03
'Faithfully'
02
'Poker Face'
This top 'Glee' video moment happens when Rachel realizes that Vocal Adrenaline director, Shelby Corcoran (Idina Menzel), is her birth mother. When the two realize they can't have a "normal" mother/duaghter relationship they duet on an acoustic version of Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face.' Critics were quick to point out a mother/daughter duo should not sing such a sexually suggestive song, but it remains one of the most popular 'Glee' songs in the series' history.
01
'Don't Stop Believin''
Far and away the most popular 'Glee' video moment from the most popular episode, the cast's version of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'' capped off the 'Journey to Regionals' season finale. Leaving off on a high note, all of these top 'Glee' moments have fans believin' the next season can only get better.
