Winning her third VMA of the night, Lady Gaga won the first award announced during the show for Best Female Video for 'Bad Romance.' Already the most-nominated artist for a single VMA show, Lady Gaga is trying to become the winningest performer for one year by getting more than the 10 Peter Gabriel got in 1987.

'Bad Romance' was nominated for eight awards, and has already won two. The dance-inspired video that takes place in a Russian bathhouse has already won for 'Best Dance Music Video,' and Gaga and Beyonce won the Moon Man for Best Collaboration for 'Telephone.'
