Taylor Swift Debuts Song About Kanye West, 'Innocent,' at MTV VMAs 2010

Looking like a goddess in a champagne gown and curled updo, 20-year-old Taylor Swift summoned golden-age Hollywood glamor onstage at MTV's VMAs. With poise, the country-pop megastar unveiled a brand-new ballad 'Innocent,' which seemed -- from her emotive delivery to the gravity of the performance -- like a therapeutic farewell to the drama that plagued her last appearance at the awards show.

No one will ever forget Kanye West's impulsive, rude antics (the rapper jumped onstage to tell the world that Beyonce deserved Best Female Video award, which Swift won for 'You Belong With Me'). Perhaps this was Taylor's response to Kanye's recent public outpouring of regret, writing a song dedicated to the young star and apologizing for last year's incident. Either way, we can't wait to hear that song again.
