When does Lil Wayne get our of jail? Well, it depends on who you ask.
The hip-hop superstar, who just celebrated his 28th birthday in prison by releasing the new album, 'I Am Not a Human Being,' is currently serving out a weapons charge conviction after he admitted he had the loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun on his bus. Lil Wayne was sentenced to a year in prison on March 8, 2010, which would make his release date March 8 of 2011, but his conduct behind bars has set his eyes on an earlier release from Rikers Island.
As has been the case since he was sentenced, Lil Wayne is keeping a running countdown of the time he has remaining in prison on WeezyThanxYou. A day after his birthday, Lil Wayne issued a new letter to tell his fans saying he "can't fxckin' wait!" [sic] to get out of prison.
Because of good behavior, Lil Wayne is now set to leave prison on Nov. 5, 2010. Barring any setbacks, the world can expect to see a lot of Lil Wayne before the end of the year. As he put it: "I've been trying to get as much rest as I can because I know I won't when I'm out of here."
