Born in 1985, Bruno Mars is one of music's bright young stars, known for his chart-topping production on tracks like 'Billionaire' by Travie McCoy, 'Right Round' by Flo Rida featuring Ke$ha and 'Wavin Flag' by K'Naan. Not only does Mars produce, but he's also known for lending his vocals and co-writing the hooks B.o.B's 'Nohin' On You' and his own international No. 1 single, 'Just the Way You Are.'
Born and raised in the Waikiki neighborhood of Honolulu, Hawaii, Bruno Mars was one of six children and came from a musical family. A background of reggae, rock, hip-hop, and R&B has given him a step up in the production game, and he's showing no signs of slowing down. As for his real name? Bruno Mars was born Peter Gene Hernandez.
