Despite never previously releasing a rap song, Justin Bieber boasts an entourage that would make any hip-hop star jealous. In addition to mentor, Usher, Bieber can claim friendships with rappers like Diddy, Drake, Ludacris and -- thanks to a recent collaboration with Kanye West -- Wu-Tang's Raekwon. Now, Justin Beiber has his own rap single to add to his pedigree.
Bieber posted a freestyle -- over the instrumental to Vado's 'Speaking In Tungs' -- on his Twitter page on Wednesday [Oct. 13] night. Performing under the name 'Shawty Mane,' Bieber is apparently quite the braggadocio battler. "So I'm raptor/Tearing it up like a tractor/Matter fact you're not feeling this track, you're a slacker," he rhymes. "Stop, drop and roll/Justin Bieber's on fire/It's time to realize it's time to call me young sire."
Whether or not this is his next career move remains to be seen, but Justin Bieber looks to be attacking the shift from childhood star to adult star head on. Like Justin Timberlake in hip-hop before him, 'Shawty Mane' could prove to be a valuable asset in Justin Bieber's arsenal.
