Atomic Tom's Subway Performance -- New Video

Atomic-TomUniversal

Atomic Tom are making the viral rounds with a YouTube video of them playing musical instrument iPhone apps on the New York City subway. The local New York band, who have been receiving extended airplay for their song 'Take Me Out,' recently had their gear stolen. This ingenious remedy for the lack of instruments takes the street performer concept to a whole new digital level, and by the looks of it, just about everyone enjoyed the show. Although it doesn't look like the old guy directly behind them is too big of an Atomic Tom fan -- or at least, not yet. Now we just have to wait and see if Apple comes calling to make Atomic Tom the new iPhone commercial darlings.

The album has its mellow moments and its upbeat moments. Definitely worth listening to. Also, check out the band live if you can, their energy is amazing. They are more then just the subway guys. They are actually a really great band and really nice guys.

ATOMIC TOM is our new favorite band. Definitely not just a viral video flash in the pan, like a lot of "now you see 'em - now you don't" acts. Their entire album "The Moment" is solid, start to finish, and they're as good live as they are in studio. We just got to see them live, and what a show! Definitely worth checking out.
