Child Prodigy Ethan Bortnick Wows on 'Good Morning America'

Nine-year-old piano prodigy Ethan Bortnick gave the 'Good Morning America' audience a special treat on Thursday [Oct. 28], when he played them one of his original compositions entitled 'Arctic Jazz.' Bortnick told the 'GMA' audience that he was inspired to write the song by a "manatee who went all the way from Florida to Antarctica to have a jazz party." He went on to explain he wrote it, "because if you keep trying and trying, you'll be the best at what you do. And, I mean, for a manatee it's pretty hard to go from Florida to Antarctica to have a jazz party." What's even more impressive than a manatee going to a jazz party is young Ethan Bortnick's abilities on the keys, as he launches into this complex and impressive jazz piano performance.
