Katherine Jackson told Oprah that Dr. Conrad Murray made the Jackson family wait before telling them the horrific news that Michael Jackson had died.

"We stayed there a long time before he came in to tell us," Katherine told the daytime television host. "Clearly I guess he didn't want to ... It took him so long and I said, 'Well, what happened?' I said, 'How is he, how is he? Did he make it?' And he said, 'No, he's gone'. That's all I remember.'" Members of Michael Jackson's family have accused Murray of administering the fatal dose of Propofol, which led to the singer's death.

The episode of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' is set to air today [Nov. 8], and features a candid interview with the late King of Pop's mother. While much of the news Katherine Jackson shared with Oprah was not all that revealing, the topic of Michael Jackson's drug use came up. Katherine shared with Oprah that she did try to talk to her son about his addiction issues. "I spoke to him about them once when I had heard it and he denied it." She later went on to say, "I was telling him I didn't want to hear one day that he had overdosed, because it would break my heart and it would kill me too."
