2010 CMA Nominees

CMA 2010 Nominees Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, and Zac BrownGetty Images (4)

The 2010 Country Music Award nominees have were made public on Sept. 1, but tonight we find out who will take home the trophies. Miranda Lambert made history by receiving the most nominations for a female artist at the CMAs ever, including album of the year, female vocalist of the year and picked up two nominations in the single of the year category, for 'The House That Built Me' and 'White Liar,' both of which were also nominated for music video of the year.

Lambert is also a contender for the CMA's top award, entertainer of the year, along with Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and the Zac Brown Band. Lady Antebellum led all groups with five nominations. The two reigning entertainers of the year -- Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift -- were left off the list this year, although Underwood received nominations for female vocalist and album of the year, while Swift -- arguably country music's biggest crossover star, but in a year without a proper release -- is only up for female vocalist honors.
