Zac Brown Band has seen success from many country hits, including 'Free,' 'Toes,' and 'Chicken Fried.' The Georgia-based band faced strong competition from Luke Bryan, Easton Corbin, Jerrod Niemann, and Chris Young for New Artist of the Year, but accepted it with pride as it was presented by Darius Rucker -- another newcomer to the country scene.
Zac Brown Band followed their acceptance of the award with a performance of 'As She's Walking Away' with Alan Jackson.
