In the new cover interview for Vibe, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, explained how his recent arrest was the result of a battle with an addiction to pain-killers. T.I. was arrested for a parole violation after cops allegedly found drugs during a search of his car back in September.
In the interview, T.I. talked about how he turned to Eminem at the height of his drug addiction, revealing the reformed rapper helped him talk through his problems. "Sure (we talked)," T.I. tells Vibe magazine. "We got a record together, and we talked a lot. I asked him how he knew he was an addict. Basically if you put yourself in harm's way... if you risk that, you've got to assume that there is something fundamentally wrong with your thought process."
