Maino, whose real name is Jermaine Coleman, was busted after ignoring the officer's directions and attempting to find his own way out of heavy traffic in the midtown area. He allegedly refused to keep driving on Sixth Avenue, and made a turn onto 53rd Street. Police later learned Maino was also driving with a suspended license.
The 'Hi Hater' hitmaker, who said he learned to rap during a 10-year prison stint, where he did time for kidnapping and robbing a drug dealer, was not arrested, but was handed a desk appearance ticket, summoning the rapper to appear in court at a later, unspecified date.
