When '#RIPAaronCarter' began trending, Carter's manager, Johnny Wright, stepped in to clear things up. He told E!: "Aaron Carter is alive and well at my compound in Orlando, rehearsing for a New Year's show." Aaron himself took to his official Twitter page to put the rumor to rest. "This is the real Aaron Carter I know there's a Hoax Going Around, But I'm Here, Alive & Well," he told fans. "At the compound Working on my mind & soul."
