Just last week, Justin Bieber told the Sun he is currently in talks to film his own guest spot, but would reportedly only agree if producers bring in British singer Cheryl Cole to guest star alongside him. This only seemed to bolster the rumors that an upcoming episode of 'Glee' would be solely dedicated to Bieber the way they had previously paid tribute to superstars Madonna and Britney Spears.
However, EW is now reporting that the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, has provided some clarity. "Those [tributes] are reserved for artists with big catalogs," he explains. "Bieber comes up in episode 13 as a small plot point. Sam (Chord Overstreet) sings a JB song to win Quinn's (Dianna Aragon) approval."
Whether or not Justin Bieber appears on 'Glee,' the show airing his song will be episode 35, entitled 'Comeback,' and will air on Feb. 15, 2011.
