Author Natasha Burton Claims She Had 'Affair' With Rihanna

Author Natasha 'Tajah" Burton claims that she had a lesbian affair with a woman who sounds like singer Rihanna. The author describes in detail her relationship with a "Barbadian, female pop/R&B artist" in her upcoming book, 'Low Down Dirty Shame.'

Burton alleges that she jokingly said she wanted to meet the artist, and a friend obliged and introduced both women. In the author's 'tell-all' book, she says that she wasn't sure that "Rihanna" was even interested in women.

An excerpt from the book describes her relationship with the artist, perhaps during her 'Rated R'-blonde locks in 2009 and the same year of the Chris Brown debacle:

"I wasn't over my ex, but talking to her helped. She was beautiful. She wore her hair short with blonde highlights, and her style was creative. I wasn't sure I could take her serious, so I took it one day at a time. We instantly had a connection. I could listen to her for hours, discuss media, music and fashion. She would open up to me ... converse with her manager in front of me, jumping on conference calls about her new project that involved her doing a soundtrack for a feature film."

We're not sure if this is Rihanna or not. Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

Just another baseless rumor. When will the media start taking responsibility for what they print by verifying it before they print something that could be a total lie? What happened to responsible journalism? This could be an unknown person or just made up by someone who wants fame.

Wouldn't surprise me. Aren't all the females in the entertainment biz lesbos or bi now anyway? It's the thing, I thought.

Of course it's RiRi. No this won't kill her career, but it simply proves she's a guttersnipe. A story like this needs no facts. They are both useless people.

This is 'news' because it speaks to two very American fears: sex and individuality. In other parts of the world, sexuality is seen as a simple fact of life...not some great big deal to make a huge fuss over.
And we Americans are helplessly addicted to labelling each other in an ongoing attempt to deny the fact of uniqueness. No, we believe everyone is simply a collection of labels-and if the label 'straight' was at some time applied to Rihanna....and it may not fit? Well, that's scary for the folks who need simple minded labels to deal with the complex business of human nature. My view is that it's none of my business-all I need to know about somebody is maybe what they do for a living. That's enough labelling for me.
