Rihanna, 'S&M' -- New Video

RihannaIDJ

Rihanna's new video for 'S&M' won't to put to rest any of the recent sexy rumors surrounding her love life.

'S&M' continues in the fun and often leather-bound theme of Rihanna's 'Loud' album, and with a chorus of: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me," you should know exactly what you're getting in to. Directed by Melina Matsoukas, there is an overriding concept about the media's fascination with the pop princess; showing members of the press bound and gagged while Rihanna is trapped up against a wall in plastic wrap. Perez Hilton even makes a cameo as the singer's pet dog. If taken literally, we might be saying she's jumped the shark with her 'S&M' video, but it's all meant in fun, so we'll just sit back and revel in another sexy video from Rihanna.

Update: Rihanna's video for for 'S&M' has been banned in 11 countries and has been pulled from the all-ages section of YouTube.

So many people are complaining about this video... The music and song are what matters. Since MTV came around people forgot that.

Ok first of all, this is one of the most inappropriate music videos I have ever seen in my whole entire life. This is all for fun? Seriously? That's the best excuse you all got? These kind of music videos should NEVER be let out to the public!!! Yes it's true that it's the parents obligations to keep their kids from "non-sense" videos such as this one. It is also true that there has been sluts from the beginning of time, but does that mean that we should continue with such sexual, inappropriate behavior? Is it alright for us to let the whole world know how sexually active we are? That's just taking things to a whole other level. Rihanna has gone too far. For those of you who like this video, there must be something seriously wrong with you. Rihanna is a great singer, but her song choices and style is totally un-classy and "wack" ! She is seriously OVERRATED! And it's getting on my last nerves. Shes the princess of darkness. Is that so hard to see? It's so funny how blind sone people can be. Fun? Haha, I just had to laugh at that one.

So...you think that sexuality is something to be ashamed of, and ought to be swept under the rug? That's essentially denying human nature and real life's nature. Sexuality drives us as human beings, it drives us as a society, and there's no shame in that. I am going to guess that you're probably a middle-aged Christian matron that thinks that people ought not to take responsibility to choose what their children ought or ought not to see, and put that responsibility on the media publishers. Way to go. Clearly, you were never taught critical thinking or logic in school - and even more likely you never even went to college, since there's a direct correlation between lack of education and skill and the support of censorship.

Seriously, y'all criticizing this video/song need to take a step back and remember the audience...ADULTS. And the term is not satanist dumb asses...it's sadomasochist, as in S&M. For those who call this "a bad influence on children" gee, I don't know many children who know what S&M is, nor would I even let a child watch or listen to this. And lets not forget your precious "morally centered" Republican party who always spews about "family values" were themselves at the center of a controversial private bondage club scandal in Southern California. This song/video is intended for and aimed at adults...you know those over 21 who can legally get into a nightclub, which is the type of scene this was designed for. Its a dance song, sexy true, but just a frigging dance song. Have some damn common sense...and for those who aren't prudes...enjoy the song like the rest of us who actually get the joke this video is making.

For real people, first the word is SADIST, as in sadomasochist, not sadist. And what wrong, wasn't your "morally prudent" RNC Chairman got in a world of trouble for booking a Republican party at a private S&M club. This song/video was not and should never have been thought of as intended for kid friendly...This is a song made for and aimed at ADULTS. If you are dumb enough to let your kid watch it/listen to it, that's our problem. And seriously, y'all really need to get laid badly and quit commenting on stuff you really no nothing about, which is clearly music, art and sex (and btw, I am not saying Rihanna is an artistic genius, this is just a catchy song for the club scene...which last time I checked, you have to be 21 to get into a club)
