The video for 'Hold It Against Me,' which is rumored to make it's debut during the Super Bowl this Sunday, Feb. 6, was directed by Jonas Akerlund, the same man responsible for Lady Gaga's 'Telephone' video. According to TMZ, multiple sources have come forward to say Akerlund was upset Britney hadn't practiced enough, so he asked her dance double, Allison Kyler, to fill in. Apparently things got so heated, that Spears left the set crying on the second day.
Those rumors were immediately debunked by both Britney Spears' rep, as well as Akerlund himself. "The accusations could not be further from the truth," her rep said. "Britney worked extremely hard on this video and rehearsed for six weeks prior to shooting." Akerlund added, "This video is gonna be f---ing awsome. It's all Britney."
Britney Spears will release her seventh studio album, 'Hold It Against Me,' in the US on March 15.
