Taylor Swift Raps to a Nicki Minaj Song

Taylor Swift may be a country superstar but the 21-year-old 'Speak Now' creator listens to other genres than just the one she dominates. A fan of rap newbie Nicki Minaj, Taylor recently took her liking for the artist to a surprising level.

During a visit to Nashville's 107.5 The River, radio jocks gave the singer the opportunity to request one song. Swift opted for Minaj's 'Super Bass,' a track off her debut album, 'Pink Friday.' The country crooner, rather shyly, admitted she was able to recite the words to the rapper's track. Though she revealed she usually only spits a verse in the comfort of her own car, Swift demonstrated her rhyming abilities by rapping a few choice lines during her interview.

Once finished, Taylor seemed a bit embarrassed over how she performed. "I just rapped acappella very badly," she stated. "But it's a good enough song."

I like that she tries new things and keeps fresh.

I was wandering how long it would take her to skank out.

Taylor Swift can't sing her way out of a paper sack. She might as well try rap since you don't have to carry a tune to do it. When will she start moon walking?

Taylor Swift could sing any song, of any genre of music, and she wouldn't,
at all be "chopping" it to pieces! I'm not a big fan of rap but I'd really
like to hear Taylor sing some southern rock. Not much, of a big difference
from country, just a little different, that's all.
