Christina Aguilera Falls During Grammy Performance

Christina Aguilera hasn't been having much luck as of late when it comes to performing in front of millions. The 30-year-old singer took to the stage Sunday night (Feb. 13) at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards and experienced a blunder reminiscent of her Super Bowl flub of the National Anthem: she fell. If you didn't catch her mess-up of the lyrics during the big game, AOL Music has you covered here.

While performing alongside Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine and Martina McBride in a tribute to Aretha Franklin at the Grammys, Christina took center stage, singing with an intricately designed red microphone. The quintent banded together to perform several songs from Aretha's catalog together as well as taking on solos.

Together they kicked the tribute off with Aretha's smash 'You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman).' Aguilera shined with 'Ain't No Way," while McBride took on 'Until You Come Back to Me.' Welch showcased her vocals on 'Respect,' while Adams did a stunning rendition of 'Spirit in the Dark.'

All seemed to be going perfect until the last song got underway. As the five songstresses rounded out the night's opening performance with 'Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves,' Aguilera lost her footing and fell to the stage floor. While it was unclear if she tripped on her dress or stumbled due to her high heels, it was apparent that the blond haired singer was having a case of bad luck.

Watch Christina Aguilera take a tumble.

I am a senior citizen and i have loved christina from the beginning of her career. She is my favorite singer. She can really sing. So she messed up the song at the game. How many songs have you messed up at a game. Unfortunately, she ALMOST fell at the award show. Didn't I see you almost fall at the awards show? Ops, you werent there.......she was. Stop being so critical of people, when your life is perfect than you can critize other people. She is a great talent and has so many great songs. I am in awe when i see her or hear her sing. She is so blessed to have that voice. I hope much more success for her. God Bless you Christina. I will always be a fan

"A God given talent," I think not. Screaming a song is a far cry from singing a song. By the way, MICHELLEdc, you call the blog stupid so can you explain why you were making a comment on the blog. I think you meant to say "she screamed her tail off."

who really cares that she stumbled, no one in america has stumbled, slipped or even falled. it is so pathetic that all negative people only see what someone who is human does wrong not all the amazing things they do right. and btw xtina turned it out at the superbowl and owned the stage at the grammys. so unless you are perfect and you never make a mistake well then you must really be BIONIC HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. CHRIS I LUV YOU KEEP DOING YOU

I wish people would stop making fun of this kind of nonsense. Xtina has a
wonderful voice, and things happen on stage. I am a Gaga fan first but I
also love Christina and all the others singing on stage. Give the woman a
break. I think fans or critics making fun or laughing at stars having problems is like being bullies. People that post this stuff are like bullies walking the halls to watch people fall or trip.
This probably won't be posted........
Peace

AOL - if you want to keep me - cut out the negativity over continuous dissing of certain celebrity or issues that go beyond our intelligence and interest!!! PLEASE, this blog was not
worthy of posting on your front page and since it felt almost like personal "dislike", I was disappointed to find the same contributing writer (CLINE ) had written both of the latest personal attacks on Christina. I am neither a fan of Christina nor a "hater." I like to click on AOL quickly to read well written articles that cover current happenings in a way that feels free of biased or "personal opinion."
