Katy Perry has enlisted Kanye West to appear in her new video for the track 'E.T.' The song, which features Kanye's lyrical gymnastics, is the fourth single Perry will release from her 'Teenage Dream' album.
"The upcoming out-of-this-world video which was directed by Floria Sigismondi will arrive to planet Earth soon!" Perry wrote on her Facebook page, adding a photo of her and Kanye on the set. From the looks of things, Perry is taking her image far away from the sexy, bubblegum pop of 'California Gurls' -- to another world entirely
Her last single and video was for 'Firework,' and showed Katy Perry's "personal side," with director Dave Meyers explaining, "We wanted to articulate the meaning of that song: what it means to be an underdog and have the courage, if you're on the outskirts of society, to be your own person."
Now we're getting Katy Perry dressed as an alien for 'E.T.,' but we still fully expect a healthy dose of sexy. Especially considering Kanye's verse: "Tell me what's next, alien sex?/ I'mma disrobe you, then I'mma probe you."
A remix of 'E.T' has been released in advance of the official video and single. We're looking forward to seeing the futuristic lovers in action, and hope the "probing" had nothing to do with Perry and husband Russell Brand's recent search for a marriage counselor.
