"I love so many wonderful artists," she told DJ Greg James. "I love Adele. I think Adele is wonderful and I'm so excited at the success she has had over the past couple of weeks with the Brits and everything. It's so wonderful."
Lady Gaga went on to say, "it's no surprise that I love Elton [John] and the Pet Shop Boys as well," but the 'Born This Way' star singled out Adele as the only contemporary artist she adores.
Adele has been dominating the UK charts in a very Lady Gaga fashion. Her album '21' is in the No. 1 position for the fifth week in a row, while her 2008 debut '19,' shot up to the No. 2 spot this week. She also currently holds the No. 1 single spot for 'Someone Like You' and the No. 4 single, with 'Rolling In The Deep.'
Adele has currently been doing the latenight rounds in the States prepping for the US release of '21,' which is expected to hit No. 1 here as well. The singer made appearances on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' and 'Chelsea Lately' last week alone.
