Jennifer Lopez, 'On the Floor' Feat. Pitbull -- New Video

Jennifer Lopez has come a long way from 'the block.' Currently a judge in the TV series 'American Idol,' Lopez will release a new album on April 19 entitled 'Love?' But, for her fans, there need not be a question mark attached -- Lopez stormed the Billboard Hot 100 on Thursday with the album's first single, 'On the Floor,' landing her in the top 10. It's a position she's been in before, but it's been a full eight years since she's seen that kind of love -- and she's been engaged and/or married more than once since then.

Demonstrating the kind of genius marketing and branding Lopez -- aka J. Lo -- has employed during her entire career, the digital release for 'On the Floor' (featuring Pitbull) was synced with its video premiere on 'American Idol' on Thursday. Watch the hot new video below.



The immediate success of 'On the Floor,' -- perhaps partially propelled by her 'American Idol' status -- marks a comeback of sorts for Lopez, who suffered two commercial failures with her previous two albums, following a string of unstoppable successes during the early 2000's. In 2009, many saw an omen in circumstance when she fell down and busted her highly-insured butt at the American Music Awards. Lopez has since dusted off and, indeed, appears to have put all that behind her, so to speak. These days, she's crushing it.

I love how the computer software used in recording studios masks her horrible voice. I am still in shock as to how SHE is judging other people's vocal talents. She has no talent all around. She can't sing, I've seen better dancers at the local strip bar, and physically (as you can tell in the video and its many enhancements) looks like every other normal mediocre looking girl except with lots of makeup...she looks alien-like. ANYONE can be a star if you are willing to become Hollywood's village bicycle.

Good luck going on tour J-Lo (if you ever go)...you're gonna need those sponsors to make the dough your husband spends. Lip-synching to borrowed tracks can only get you so far.

Lady Gaga concert I saw last month blows all of these wannabes away. Now there's vocal talent!! No need for computer generated vocal enhancements there!

What a JOKE!!! Keep grabbing your hair and puckering those lips baby, that's all you've got! The "look" at the end of the video looks familiar J-Lo? Is that "Blue Steel" from "Zoolander"? LOL LOL LOL!!!!
