Justin Bieber Causes Near-Riot in England

Justin Bieber's arrival in Liverpool, England caused a near riot outside of the 'Baby' singer's hotel.

Earlier today, thousands of girls flooded the entrance of the aptly named Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool, England, holing the singer up in his hotel like a prisoner, according to a TMZ report. "This is crazy," tweeted Bieber earlier today. "There are like thousands of people out there ... love everybody but gonna try and get some sleep. Please don't scream." One hour earlier, he shared a picture of the hoard of fans screaming outside his window.

This isn't the first time Bieber fever has gotten out of hand. Most recently, Bieber's management announced that the singer would not be playing any unseated arenas or other venues for fear of fans getting crushes.

A rep told E! that Merseyside police told Bieber and his entourage to not leave the hotel or go out to the balcony, otherwise they face arrest for inciting a riot. "They are complying with police demands," said Bieber's publicist.

Not since the Beatles has there been such a massive gathering of teenage girls in the streets of Liverpool -- until now. Bieber, on his My World tour, is playing a number of shows in the UK, including one tomorrow night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.

Bieber fever is out of control around the world. Let's just hope the Echo definitely has seats tomorrow night.
