Stars Share Thoughts, Prayers for Japan's Tsunami Victims on Twitter

Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and will.i.am are just a handful of artists sharing their support and sympathy for the victims of the 8.9 earthquake that hit Japan earlier on Twitte today.

The earthquake, which sparked a 23-foot tsunami, has already killed hundreds of people with hundreds more missing.

Throughout the day, artists have been flooding Twitter and expressing their thoughts and prayers for the victims. "I'm sending my thoughts and prayers and love to those in Japan who are hurting," tweeted Taylor Swift, while Katy Perry added, "My prayers go out to anyone that is being effected by the disaster in Japan ... "


Here are some of the other artists who expressed their concern in the wake of the disaster today:
