'Original Song' is a very special episode of 'Glee' as it marks the first in the popular show's history to use original music. The appropriately titled 16th episode of the second season is one of the most musical to date, with no less than seven songs.

'Original Song' will feature three original tracks, including 'Loser Like Me,' which was composed by famed Britney Spears 'Femme Fatale' producer Max Martin. The Regionals are in full swing at this point, and the New Directions are representing strong with Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet, Ashley Fink and Harry Shum Jr. all recurring their roles for 'Original Song.' They perform 'Loser Like Me' with Rachel, while the other two originals, 'Get It Right' and 'Hell to the No,' are sung by Michele and Mercedes Jones respectively. Both 'Get It Right' and 'Loser Like Me' appear on the recently released 16-track album, 'Glee: The Music, Volume 5.'

'Original Song' also features two anticipated guest appearances by Kathy Griffin and Loretta Davis, who appear as Regionals judges. Griffin is said to play a middle-aged recent Tea Party candidate, while Davis a former stripper.
