In a surprising twist of events, a source close to ABC news told E! that the network wants to "milk this event for everything it's worth." On Tuesday, Chris Brown became outraged following an interview with the morning show's Robin Roberts, because she asked him a question about Rihanna. The singer, who kept his composure throughout the interview, broke a window in his dressing room, tore off his shirt and stormed out of the studio following his appearance.
Now, the network may reportedly be working on getting Chris Brown to appear again – and not on his own. Rihanna may be approached to join Brown in the interview. Whether the two artists will agree to a joint interview is unknown, but the network may believe it's likely since Rihanna recently requested that Brown's restraining order be dropped earlier this year.
Another rumor floating around is that the network may offer Brown a reality series, which was shut down by the E! source, who said "What's far more likely is orchestrating Chris Brown talking to Rihanna for the first time."
The network decided not to press charges on Brown, and he's also scheduled to appear on next week's 'Dancing with the Stars.' Everything seems to be working out for Brown so far, with the exception of his representation: The singer's publicist Tammy Brook reportedly stopped representing the artist after the ABC tantrum.
