The two are reportedly close to reaching an agreement within the next few days. Minaj is currently on the road with Lil Wayne on his I Am Music II tour, which ends April 28. Britney Spears' tour begins on June 17 in Sacramento, Calif., which would be perfect timing for both.
Minaj, who has already worked with Jay-Z, Rihanna, Drake, Kanye West and others has big admiration for Spears and recently said that she doesn't want to do any more collaborations but she would hold out to work with the 'Femme Fatale.' Britney Spears! "Oh yeah, Britney's a sag (sagittarius) like me and she's cute," said Minaj. "Yes! We might do something."
The 'Blow Ya Mind' singer even dressed up as a 'Toxic'-era Britney for her 26th birthday last December.
There's no word on whether the tour is confirmed with Minaj yet, but Usher, Joe Jonas and even Jersey Shore's DJ Pauly D have also been rumored to join Spears.
