It seems Cynthia Germanotta, 56, is worried about her daughter's well-being since she collapsed at a show in Indiana last January and nearly fell from exhaustion at a New Zealand concert just two months later. (Gaga recently admitted to living off of a "drunk diet" of drinking at night and working out, hung over, by day.) Mrs. Germanotta, who was seen on the singer's bus at her recent San Diego show, may join Gaga on the remainder of the tour to make sure that she eats well and doesn't drink too much, according to a Sun report.
"She may be one of the biggest, and strangest, pop stars in the world but her relationship with her parents is very traditional," said a friend of Gaga to the Sun. "She is from a typical loving Italian-American background and her family have normal parental concerns. Her mom thinks she drinks too much and doesn't eat enough. She has gone along to keep an eye on her drinking and feed her up."
Most recently, Gaga's wild, 25th birthday bash last week also left her mother in shock. Gaga received a custom-made sex doll as a gift during the tequila-filled party at La Cita and gave her guests a semi-drunk rendition of 'Born This Way' with help from the restaurant's mariachi band.
