According to Perez Hilton, Spears helped pen the unreleased song 'Whiplash' as well as two other tracks specifically for Gomez. Selena's producer, Kevin Rudolf, has said of the tracks that "The lyrics are like a drug, so catchy! It's easy, fast and really sexy!" Spears has gained criticism lately for her lack of participation in the writing process of 'Femme Fatale.'
Ke$ha, who wrote the hit track 'Till the World Ends' defended the pop princess' non-penmanship in an interview with MTV by saying "She's an amazing singer, an amazing performer and she's an icon. I don't think that that means she has to write. I do write my own music, some people don't and it doesn't at all make them any less of a brilliant artist, obviously, in her case, an icon."
Spears is currently on her no junk food/alcohol tour with pop peer Nicki Minaj.
