hmm..it's only a single..her Infinity Album won't officially be out in United States until I think March or April of 2012..So by then, she'll get more radio airtime but as of now..she hasn't "released" other than Japan..

it's really so upsetting that she didnt got lots of radio airsteams. Louder deserves to be a hit coz she is really talented. I wonder why her management didnt promote the single that much. If this single will be promoted then it will break the charts

as i have said, radio airplay is quite expensive for charice's team as they must have to pay the radio station managers in order to get airplay. in fact, in the state where i live, they never played "pyramid" last year. when i called the DJs, they would simply say they don't have that song :( it would have been nice driving to work and hearing charice's song from the fm radio station i always dial onto but...at least, she got a no. 1 dance song on the bb dance (minor) chart, thanks to the club DJs...still, that is not as great as the hot 100 chart where pure asians like jay sean (indian) and kyu sakamoto (japanese) were no. 1 in the past.

To Air Sales: Charice GLEE'S covers of ALL BY MYSELF, LISTEN and TELEPHONE made it to the BB Hot 100's and so did her song Pyramid. Talking about other BB charts, her album CHARICE was 7th in the TOP 200, PYRAMID DANCE REMIX was FIRST for about 7 weeks in the TOP 100 DANCE CHART and her debut single NOTE TO GOD was in the BB TOP 100. CHARICE, her SELF-TITLED ALBUM, PYRAMID and other songs in the album were in various BB CHARTS in many countries. JAPAN and SOUTH KOREA had nearly all her album songs in the top 20. Her album songs did well in Canada, Australia and In Europe. CHARICE has a great group of people managing her career. She has a personal manager (assigned by David Foster), OPRAH'S publicist, DAVID FOSTER as advisor and producer and OPRAH as a vigorous supporter and adviser as well. I must admit that BEFORE IT EXPLODES penned by BRUNO MARS did not do well, not just yet. I believe that CAHRICE and her group learned a lesson from taking a song that was not initially conceived for her. They banked on the fact that it was a BRUNO MARS composition (half Filipino and half Puerto Rican), who have created some of the biggest hits in the past two years. The song was already sung by a British singer, who may not have accept ed the offer or who may have not been offered song at all to be included in her album. When words about CHARICE'S having BEFORE IT EXPLODES to be her first song in her second album, the BRITISH'S SINGER version floated on YOU TUBE as if it was done to ridicule MARS and CHARICE. However, it has been slowly getting the boost it needs, and it has been in the market for only 4 to 6 weeks. Given that CHARICE is MULTI-TASKING- from the film production in Boston, GLEE and song collaborations for her new album; her savy group of managers and advisors are definitely mapping out a marketing strategy for a very good RETURN on INVESTMENT. Don't underestimate the power of the iconic elite group of people who gave us Madonna, MJ, Mariah, Celine, Beyonce and many othes. RADIO AIRPLAYS are slowly losing their power to influence the highly technological emerging, diversified, global market demographics. Advertising has risen beyond television and radios. You have to use the new communication sharing technologies to market and sell your products. Music and film production companies are finding the best tools to protect the ease of sharing songs and movies for free. The last 50-99 cents' songs that I purchased were done through MP3 downloads from Amazon and I-Tunes. I checked the news, weather and other interesting iand important nformation online. I have literally cut-off my radio relationship for that last three years.

i know those bboard ranks she has gotten...it's just that contrary to your opinion, radio airplay is still -- matter-of-factly -- a major force in consideration of bb hot 100 rankings, just 2nd to sales (internet downloads and physical)

Your reply is not consistent with with your original argument that Charice's team has not been lobbying Charice's songs with disc jockeys to get more radio airplay exposures. Charice has worked immensely hard last year as she promoted her name, voice, songs and new album from one radio station to the other in as many cities in the US and around the world.

She knows very well that it would require working hard 10 times more for an Asian performer to get a song produced and 100 times more to achieve the success that she is enjoying now. Notwithstanding, the fact that nearly 3 years ago, her English proficiency was put to a test in an interview with Ellen. She responded in fragments, a product of poverty and an inept educational system, but hardly distinguished as she nailed the two tough songs effortlessly and very impressively. Her limited English skills did not deter Charice, only 15 then, to emulate such profound innate talent, charisma, confidence and humility. Her humble background and physical attributes (maligned by fellow Filipinos) , even with a phenomenal vocal talent that has made Oprah cry and Ellen put in absolute awe, have vigorously done far beyond 100 times more.

We have seen her trasformation, increasing popularity, improved communication proficiency and maturity in the last three years. She earned every cent and each avid follower by exactly doing what you wrote about marketing Charice's products, which she herself did by going to as many radio stations possible, TV guestings, and performing in free and paid full-packed concerts here and in other major cities out of the US.

2010 earned her new productive relationships and supporters from many of the entertainment industry's major player, which include those from the US Billboard. Pyramid and her other songs have captured many disc jockeys' to remixing them for radio airplays and MP3 sales. She has performed in many sponsored radio stations' live concerts. She was one of the main performers in the CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING at the Rockefeller Center and at Citade in LA, landed a role in GLEE, signed a contract with one of the biggest radio stations and TV channels in Japan. Charice is now working as one of the main characters in a major film production.

Ironically, as I have noted in my initial reply, BEFORE IT EXPLODES encountered some problems. In fact, it was a lesson to be learned when making future song choices, collaborations and mapping out marketing strategies. It is a BRUNO MARS' failure as much as CHARICE'S. Nonetheless, the album is still in the works. BEFORE IT EXPLODES may still be rescued. Although it's not an absolute failure, CHARICE'S TEAM may decide to pull it out from her sophomore future album. Charice's team is doing great, and I am confident that a singular not so good choice should be used as a measure for failure. You have to look at the entire picture. Likewise, I stand firm with my prediction about radios and televisions. Ask Oprah.

Without radio airplay, this great song - like all previous Charice products - won't touch the Billboard Hot 100 chart's No. 1 slot by just sales/webstream alone. So what is the Charice team doing not contacting disc jockeys, hmm? Perhaps, just milking the cow (selling, selling and selling on iTunes) without promoting the milk, er, song through radio station tours.
