Shaggy Reveals Michael Jackson Was a Big Fan -- Potent Quotables

And then Quincy Jones looked at me and said, 'I want to know something. How the hell do you sell this many records with no promotion?' And at that point it dawned on me that somebody was taking notice. We're certainly doing something f---ing wrong here!" -- Shaggy

Shaggy recounts an interaction with legendary record producer Quincy Jones and superstar Michael Jackson. The reggae star revealed that he moved big numbers with little resources and found a fan in the late king of pop in an interview with AOL Music. In the interview Shaggy also suggested that despite MJ's support, he was snubbed by sister Janet.
