The 24-year-old singing and acting sensation started songwriting at age 15, and has recently signed a record deal with Columbia Records. As Santana on 'Glee,' Rivera has killed it covering artists from the troubled and soulful Amy Winehouse to folk rockers Fleetwood Mac with her impassioned powerhouse vocals. We're hoping some of Santana's signature sexiness finds its way into Rivera's upcoming album, too.
Rivera is the latest 'Glee' star to embark on a solo effort. She follows Matthew Morrison -- who has already recorded a duet with Elton John and collaborated with Kris Allen -- Sony-signed Darren Criss, and 'Pipe Dreams' singer-songwriter Mark Salling.
