Lady Gaga Sings With Patti LaBelle at CFDA After-Party

Lady Gaga joined the legendary Patti LaBelle for a performance of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' at an after-party for the CFDA Awards in a New York City nightclub on Monday night (June 6).

LaBelle invited Gaga to join her on stage -- teal wig, boob pasties, studded thong and all -- at the star-studded after-party at the Standard Hotel. The unlikely duo belted it out, complete with diva-esque hand waving, with their arms wrapped around each other and sharing one mic between the two of them.

Earlier in the night, Gaga won the prestigious prize for Fashion Icon at the Council of Fashion Designers of America award ceremony, after suffering a very revealing wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet and mistakenly calling iconic fashion editor Anna Wintour the "B" word.

After the duet that brought the house (club) down, Gaga proceeded to rage -- dancing and singing the night away.

Ugh... did everyone somehow forget "Lady Marmalade"? And while we're at it, Madonna? Britney vs. Christina?

It's the same damn thing for a different generation, as proved right here by the fact that the people who don't like her not only don't like her, they seem determined to bitch about her at any chance they get.

You REALLY want to get rid of Lady Gaga? STOP. Talking about her. That way, you can blissfully continue your life as if she's not there, and the rest of the world who likes her can happily continue enjoying her music and entertainment value.

And if she really IS a no-talent hack as you so righteously claim, then the lack of media attention will sink her faster than the Titanic since she's got nothing to back it up, right?

I'm confused, if I as a man was to show up with nothing but a red colored condom on my penis and some tape on my butt crack, would it be considered appropriate? She takes it just to far. Talented yes, fashion icon? no way

I just love Patti LaBelle. My brother played backup to her in the 60's, so I've been listening to her for years. Now Lady Gaga can sing. I may not like what she wears or how she dresses, but I can't take the talent from her. She sang with Patti LaBelle, and Gaga sure can sing. She is an excellent vocalist!

GaGa's a bit radical in her style but that woman can really belt out a song.

I don't know anything about "Lady" Gaga and don't think I've ever heard any of the songs. When I first saw the picture with Patti LaBelle I thought this was a guy in drag, is it? Also, isn't it illegal to be in public with no clothing on?

Obviously she is a hurting and broken woman. To bad she doesn't feel comfortable to stand on her talent alone. Or could she?
