Jennifer Hudson Will Pen Weight Loss Memoir

Jennifer HudsonJoseph Llanes for AOL

Jennifer Hudson is putting her recent pound dropping journey on paper in a personal memoir to be published in January 2012.

The former 'American Idol' contestant, Grammy and Oscar winner can now add "author" to her already impressive resume. Hudson signed a book deal with Dutton, an imprint of Penguin Group, for the as-yet untitled book.

The WeightWatchers spokeswoman has been very vocal about her dramatic 80-pound weight loss, telling AOL Music, "It's like being introduced to a whole new world in every single way you can imagine." "There's a whole lot more opportunities, people are more friendly," she adds.

JHud also credited her slimmed down figure for her improved singing claiming, "When I was in high school, I could do (sing) the whole piano. Now I've lost weight my voice is getting back to that same state."

I hope she doesn't forget to credit her trainer. Not everyone can afford to have a trainer to help you lose weight.

you don't need to pay one penny to loose weight, I stopped eating junk food; and cut down on portions of what I did eat. in 6 weeks I lost 32 lbs. you just have to fight the cravings at first, after a month you will be surprised at how much comes off !!!

Any model, actress, celebrity, news caster, weather man/woman or anyone in front of the camera can "write-off" whatever it takes that contributes to their appearance or their self-contracted business such as, Botox, face lifts, spray tans, makeup, makeup artists, clothes, limosines, assistants, photo shoots, travel, hotels, jewelery, business dinners, liposuction, lasik eye surgery, and much, much more as a tax expense for their business. Their business is, being in front of the public and usually self-contracted.

If somebody would pay for me, Hell yes I would do a weight loss thing. I gained over one hundred pounds from taking Prednisone and a few other meds. Also got diabeties from being so fat, can't even go to the store no more between weight and being sic I am miserable. So congrats Jen for getting it free and being paid taboot. So anyone want to pay me? Hugs and Kisses.

Hello Gorgeous!!

No, wait, I screwed up.....Cindy wasn't first comment. Didn't want to congratulate wrong person. Geez-am so bad at this sometimes. Anyway, Cindy, congrats on your 40 pound weight- good for you! Continued success on maintaining it. From what I understand- keeping it off is also a challenge.
