Maroon 5 frontman and 'The Voice' coach Adam Levine appeared on the 'Tonight Show' last night (June 13) and was embarrassed by host Jay Leno when he unearthed a home video of Levine belting out Bobby Brown's 1988 hit 'Don't Be Cruel' as a prepubescent performer.

Leno started by flashing a childhood family photo of Adam and then proceeded to ask Levine when he first started performing for audiences before rolling footage of a baby-faced Adam lip syncing and gyrating to Bobby Brown's '80s jam.

Levine was caught on camera bumping and grinding to the R&B bad boy's track in an over-sized t-shirt, ripped jeans, leather jacket and fitted cap.

When the video cut away, Adam shook his head in shame and could only say "wow" at Leno in disbelief. Hey, at least there were no naked baby on a bear skin rug photos! Check out the hilarious home video below!

Maroon Fives music does nothing for me. Not really rock n roll as I remember it,just lightweight music with lyrics to match. This shows how real rock music has disappeared,if this passes as rock n roll. It's like listening to the Cowsills or Partridge Family, weak in every respect.
