The award winning fashion icon's carnivorous couture from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will go on public display as a part of the 'Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power' exhibition in Cleveland, Ohio, which opens tomorrow (June 16).
The outfit, made entirely of raw animal flesh, was hand-sewn by designers Franc Fernandez & Nicola Formichetti and has been preserved to prevent rotting -- and E. coli!
The fashion savvy star later explained the provocative fashion statement asserting, "I am not a piece of meat." Although Mother Monster's message was lost on certain disapproving stars like a disgusted Justin Bieber and a concerned Courtney Love, the iconic dress was named Best Fashion Statement of 2010 by Time magazine and has been deemed Hall of Fame-worthy.
