Criss, who plays Warbler hunk and Kurt's main squeeze Blaine, has been promoted from guest star to series regular on the hit musical show. Criss' promotion was announced at the same time as that of Harry Shum Jr. aka non-singing glee club member Mike Chang.
Criss' on-screen upgrade follows the news that he is currently working on his first solo album, sans 'Glee' cast. Looks like his already hectic schedule will be even busier going forward!
While Criss and Shum celebrate their promotions, Chord Overstreet, aka fish-lipped new guy Sam, was demoted from series regular to possible guest star when his contract was not renewed by the network.
