A.J. McLean and Rochelle Deanna Karidis to Marry

After a short stint in rehab for substance abuse, Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean (33) is saying goodbye to the single life and getting hitched to his longtime girlfriend, Rochelle Deanna Karidis (30).

According to the Toronto Sun, the couple pushed their wedding date from May '10 to next December (2011) after A.J. checked into a rehab center for about a month. But this isn't the singer's first bout with drugs -- back in 2001 and 2002 McLean was treated for cocaine and alcohol abuse.

And as A.J. writes on his Twitter, it was Rochelle that helped him through the whole process.

The Toronto Sun also reports that the now-sober boy-bandier and Karidis plan to marry December 17 in Beverly Hills, Calif. with famous photographer Tyler Shields officiating.

"I'll tell you that my fiancée is wearing a black dress, I am wearing a white suit, the theme is Moulin Rouge," A.J. gushed to OK! Magazine last year. "I have got some other friends of mine who may perform and do our first dance." McClean also confessed that he 'Wants It That Way' and is a true "groomzilla." Be that as it may, we're sure the couple have a promising future. Cheers!

to welcome veronica, no one asked, suggested, implied, or forced you to click on the link to read the story, i think it's really sad that people like you have nothing else to do but to try and bash and leave negative comments on stories you supposedly don't care about, take a look at yourself and see who the Disgusting one really is. Also, i agree with patrickfny, stick to the serious news sites instead of making yourself look really ignorant.

I'm happy that he's finally found someone supportive enough to stick with him through the bad times. He deserves this.

And 'Welcome Veronica" some of us do enjoy entertainment news. This IS the AOL MUSIC page. Don't like it, stick with the "serious" news sites.
