Colbie Caillat and Common Collaborate on Your New 'Favorite Song'

Colbie Caillat has a sweet and soulful new track, 'Favorite Song,' featuring the rhymes of rapper Common.

Colbie likens herself to a favored tune that will make the object of her affection want to press "repeat" in this sultry, upbeat tune filled with "la la la"s. "I wanna be your favorite song/ you can turn it up, play me all night long ... I wanna be your melody/ Flowing through your head when you think of me," she sings.

Common's hip-hop poetry adds to the Ryan Tedder-produced track and keeps the metaphor going. "We stay in tune with each other/ In our room we'll discover new ways to do covers, no matter how they dub us," he raps.

The Colbie-Common collab is off Caillat's upcoming third studio album 'All of You,' which hits shelves tomorrow (July 12).
