Jennifer Lopez Will Return for Another Season as Judge on 'American Idol'

After much prolonged speculation, Jennifer Lopez is reportedly officially onboard to return as judge on 'American Idol's 11th season.

Rumors arose that J.Lo might ditch her 'Idol' gig after just one season, when she announced her plans to star in her own spin-off reality competition show in search of the next big Latin American singing sensation.

Reports also circulated that while Lopez was in limbo about her decision, she was offered a staggering $20 million to return to the show!

Lopez will rejoin fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler, who both already renewed their contracts with the show last month.

So was J.Lo just giving us the runaround to build the anticipation and garner more media attention for the upcoming season?

Oh wow, I can hardly wait ~ NOT. She is an even bigger loser as a judge than was Paula. She must have some good people behind the scenes for her own music; because what she knows about music could be stuffed in a gnat's ear and cause no loss of hearing.

Jennifer Lopez is anything BUT an "American Idol." Why would they have someone like her judging? She is certainly NO IDOL for the American youth!!!!!!

Jennifer is nice to look at, that's about where it ends. She is no Beyonce by any stretch of the imagination...she just does not have the "chops" of a great singer. Just shaking your butt doesn't really cut it as a talent. Then as a Judge on Idol she is a bit of a drag, being way too attached and emotionally involved. Cut the cord Jennifer...its a CONTEST. I found it hard to believe how many contestants got a "pass" from her that deserved the boot....or at least some real constructive criticism which neither she nor Steven (though he is the best, most comical and entertaining judge since Simon) is able to give. All they tell contestants afterwards was "it was beautiful"...look it wasn't all beautiful....take the wax out of your ears folks....Only Randy hands out some helpful criticism. Quit crying Jennifer and start doing what you are overly paid to do. Her husband Marc is a great singer however.

It is totally obscene and morallly objectionalable to pay her $20million when thousands are homeless and probably hungry in the strees of LA....go downtown and drive around...it's scary. I am disgusted with whomever made that call. I know I am going to take note of commercials played during that show IF I ever watch it , and think twice about purchasing those products.

Plus, I am not taken with her "talent' or "brains",,,,what is this world coming to?
