As RiRi was finishing singing power ballad single 'California King Bed,' a fire broke out, showering sparks and burning debris onto the smoking stage behind her.
The fire grew rapidly, but the production crew moved quickly and extinguished the flames to the applause of the 12,500 fans in attendance, who then calmly evacuated the American Airlines Center. There were no injuries. Phew!
The fiery-haired songstress took to her Twitter page soon after the abbreviated show to address the incendiary incident. "DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!!," she tweeted. "I'm so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!" she added.
The concerned superstar reported, "Heading into a production meeting to find out exactly what happened!!! Keep u posted" and added, "Glad you guys are safe!!! I promise I'll be back!!!"
