Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Divorce

It's official: after seven years of marriage Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez are getting a divorce, People reports.

"We have decided to end our marriage," the couple tells People in a joint statement. "This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters...It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

Lopez has had a well-publicized dating history. Back in 2001, the singer's marriage to backing dancer Chris Judd ended after just nine months. She has also dated rapper Diddy and actor Ben Affleck -- a relationship that spawned the term 'Bennifer.'

Less than a week after his divorce from Miss Universe Dayanara Torres was finalized, Marc Anthony married the 'American Idol' judge in a quiet home wedding (guests thought it was going to be a simple "afternoon party.")

Lopez (41) and Anthony (42) have been married since 2004 and have two children, 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Jennifer just did what ever need to be done,as I said before Mark is a free loader he looks for women who have money and famous ,because the money he make singing he have to spend it on child support and alimony to his ex-wife. Yes she is a nice woman i don't think any different but mark don't like nice women,that word don't exist in his dictionary,.Therefore, Jennifer is ok where she is, the sad part is that she have children with him .She should had got involve with a man who does not have children so they can have thier own and not to share that feeling .Call me crazy I would it done it that way ,but I'm not J.LO.She just need to continue her career and make more money because the love we give to our children is what we get back.Men come a dime a doz.and with the money she make who give a cracb about .Go Jennifer .I wish you can hear this because my book you have to be me i have a picture of me when i was younger and i look just like you ,i'm an older version of you Jenny. I want you to do my movie ,by that I mean play my part.

I am very sorry that such a beautiful couple, with their success, accomplishments, individually and as a couple, are ending in such a common thing with the "farandula", divorce. I hope they make the right decisions and can raise their children with good examples. I wish them both Good Luck and they can find the happiness they deserve.

God doesn't like ugly and Dayanara suffered alot after Jennifer snached her man and broke their marriage. What goes around comes around. I was really rooting for them and thought they would stay together, but...........

This is so disappointing. Does anyone stay together any more? You know ...tuff it out and get through the hard times together? People always forget why they got married in the first place, and the things that they loved about eachother, People change..yes but you should be able to grow together. Real love always prevails and it is worth the blood sweat and tears. Families should be strong and set and example for the kids, How many times can you fall in love when you finally figure out ,,,oh hey the grass is not greener with others. and the fire does burn out eventally, but the love, strength and respect is there, so that when you are 80 years old (if your lucky) you can look at each other and say wow we did it, we rode the tide and it was one wild ride but look at the life we built together, we beat the odds kid. ; ; I don't know ...they had it all... if they can t make it, that does not give much hope to others. Unless there were drugs or abuse involved ..well then thats a whole different ball game.

I thought perhaps that Jennifer had finally gotten it right. Because I was very happy for her and Marc for how they both showed a lot of class in the public's view. Unfortunately, their marriage did not work out for whatever unforseen reasons we don't know. I hope they can make an attempt to repair whatever it is that's broken. However if not, I hope the best for the both of them during their ongoing tenure towards their successful careers.
