Demi Lovato Rumored to Be Dating Double-Her-Age Actor Ryan Phillippe!

18-year-old comeback queen Demi Lovato is standing as tall as a 'Skyscraper' these days, and according to an E! News source, she has a new man standing by her side -- 36-year-old Ryan Phillippe!

Apparently the once-troubled, recently treated teen star has been quietly dating the two-times-her-age actor over the last couple of months.

Phillippe is a divorced dad of three young children, two from his marriage with actress Resse Witherspoon and his latest, a 2-week-old daughter with ex-girlfriend, actress Alexis Knapp.

Lovato, who dated Joe Jonas in her early teens and was linked to Justin Bieber just before entering rehab, recently stated that she was single and declared "music is my boyfriend" in an interview with E! News.

A source tells E! News that Phillippe and Lovato started seeing each other casually, but the romance stared to really steam up until the recent birth of Phillippe's daughter. "It was really hot and heavy for a while," the source, who is allegedly close to the couple, reports.

The source adds that Lovato didn't know that Phillippe was going to be a father again "until it basically happened. It kind of threw her for a loop." But don't blame baby (or a dishonest boyfriend), the promotion of Lovato's new smash hit single 'Skyscraper' and video, has been keeping Demi quite busy herself. Staging a comeback is hard work, after all.

Reps for the stars have not yet responded to E! News' request for comment, although another source close to Phillippe denies that any relationship with Lovato ever took place and claims the actor is "totally single."
