2011 MTV Video Music Award Nominees Announced: Katy Perry and Adele Get Most Nominations

The VMA nominations are in and vivacious pop songstress Katy Perry leads the pack with nods for "Video of the Year," "Best Female Video," "Best Pop Video," "Best Special Effects" and "Most Likely to Spout Fireworks From Her Bosoms."

We're kidding about that last one, but with an impressive nine nods, Katy's raking in the kudos for all her hard work. Close behind is this year's biggest album seller Adele. The soulstress earned seven nominations for 'Rolling in the Deep.'

Beyonce's right - and nominated! Clearly, girls do run the world, with lady nomineess outnumbering the gentlemen and two of the "Best Male Video" picks featuring the guest vocals and charms of Miss Rihanna.

Before you tune into to the 2011 VMAs on August 28th at 9PM EST, check out the a list of nominated pop giants. Who do you think should win?

She may be pretty, but she can't sing and her songs are retread Madonna. Also, her husband would benefit from a bath and a shave. How can you people pay to hear this gargage? Can't you tell the difference or don't you care?

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores.
