Blue Ivy Carter
Beyonce and Jay-Z
Born January 7, 2012 to music's ultimate power couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter was famous from the day Queen B debuted her baby bump on the 2011 MTV VMAs red carpet. While it was initially reported that their daughter's name was Ivy Blue Carter, Hove and B's close friend Gwyneth Paltrow set the record straight when she tweeted the name was, in fact, Blue Ivy Carter. Whatever the order, there is no denying that the child's name is an odd choice. It has been speculated that "Blue" comes from Jay's series of 'Blueprint' albums ('The Blueprint,''The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse,' and 'The Blueprint 3.' Ivy is roman numeral 4, and Beyonce was born on September 4 and named her fourth album '4.' Bey and Jay were also married on 4/4 -- April 4, 2008.

Apple Blythe Alison Martin
Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow
From geographical locations to fruit, Coldplay's Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow named their daughter -- born May 14, 2004 -- Apple. Perhaps because she is the apple of their eye ...? The babe borrows her middle names from her grandmas -- Paltrow's famous mom, Blythe Danner, and Martin's mother Alison Martin.

Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis
Toni Braxton and Keri Lewis
We don't know if Toni Braxton meant to name her son, born March 31, 2003, after a type of engine fuel (and spell it incorrectly), but we sure hope not. Maybe he'll grow up to be a big muscle man and the name will take on a whole new connotation!

Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale
Gwen and Gavin Rossdale land on our list again for the naming of their second son, Zuma. Born August 21, 2008, the rocker offspring may be named after Zuma Beach in Malibu. Second name Nesta was Bob Marley's real given name, continuing the Jamaican theme instituted with son Kingston. And considering his parents' occupations, Rock seems appropriate.

Prince Michael Jackson II aka "Blanket"
Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson is the king of pop, so it wasn't a stretch to call his first son, born February 13 1997, Prince. Though, he's actually Michael Jr., he goes by the royal title. But it's his younger brother, Blanket, who steals the crazy baby name spotlight. Blanket was born in 2002 and his real name, Prince, is his older brother's nickname. The name goes perfectly with the baby blanket MJ constantly covered his face with in an attempt to shield him from the paparazzi, but apparently is a term of endearment amongst the Jackson family.

Bluebell Madonna Halliwell
Geri Halliwell and Sacha Gervasi
Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, and her fellow Spice Girls know a thing or two about wacky stage names. It's only appropriate that her daughter, born May 14, 2006, was named after a rare flower and Geri's heroines, the Virgin Mary and pop icon Madonna.

Toni Braxton and Keri Lewis
Before Diezel, Braxton gave birth to son Denim on December 2, 2001. Baring the name of a textile may seem odd, but when you think about it, who doesn't love a nice pair of blue jeans?

Speck Wildhorse Mellencamp
John Mellencamp and Elaine Irwin
Folk-rocker John Mellencamp and model Elaine Irwin inexplicably decided to name their son, born April 23, 1995, after a type of meat -- or the word for a small spot -- we're not sure which is worse. Speck is a distinctively-flavored ham, typically found in parts of Europe. And if Speck is too bland for you, throw in another animal -- like a wild horse -- just to spice it up!

Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof
Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates
Believe it or not, there's more than one rock-star daughter named Tiger Lily! Late INXS rocker Michael Hutchence and late Brit-TV personality Paula Yates welcomed their daughter on July 22, 1996. The 'Peter Pan' character name Tiger Lily ironically suits the tragically orphaned girl. We have to also give an honorable mention to her half sisters, Fifi Trixibelle Geldof, Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof and Little Pixie Geldof.

Jermajesty Jermaine Jackson
Jermaine Jackson and Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza
At the top of our list may not be the offspring of the king of pop, but he certainly bears a royal title! Michael Jackson's brother and former Jackson 5 bandmate Jermaine Jackson welcomed son Jermajesty on October 7, 2000. A combination of his famous father's name and "majesty," older cousin Prince doesn't stand a chance. All hail the ruler of ridiculous celeb baby names!
