Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in the Unites States, the 31-year-old entertainer began her career as a model, which led to a co-host position on Univision's popular 'Don Francisco Presenta.'
Music had always been a passion and Veronica's dream was realized with the release of her debut album, 'Vengo Con To,' in 2008.
"That my career happened to have started as a model or sex symbol has nothing to do with the fact that I'm also able to express myself as an artist." Veronica said in an interview with Billboard Magazine.
"I grew up with musicians. My father acquired much fame in Cuba as the singer of a rock band [Los Dada], and we had rehearsals every day at my house," the pop songstress added.

"The original track is completely a pop sound," she explained to Billboard Magazine. "The remixes incorporate a lot more of a club feel that you [also] hear on dance radio."

"I'm bringing stories you can question or relate to," Veronica said. "I plan on inspiring you to free yourself from inhibitions – that's my goal as an artist...I'm bringing my soul, and not just my voice."
