Darren Criss will make his Broadway debut on January 3, 2012 and star in the show for a brief 3-week run, through January 22, 2012. Criss will perform the show eight times per week, but stage work is nothing new for the star who has been putting on a show for live audiences on this summer's Glee Live Tour, which has been turned into a full-length feature film, 'Glee: The 3D Concert Movie.'
Ironically enough, Criss has already played a Radcliffe role. He starred in a parody performance-turned-viral-video spoof of the 'Harry Potter' film franchise entitled, 'A Very Potter Musical,' back in 2009 when he was a student at University of Michigan.
The Broadway stint will add to Criss' growing resume, which includes a debut solo album in the works. We're sure while he's off fulfilling a lifelong dream, Criss will also get a break from all the 'Glee' cast drama.
