The 14-year-old was launched into the spotlight after her so-bad-it's-good song and video 'Friday' hit YouTube and became an instant viral sensation. Just like she pulled the infamous 'Friday' video from the video sharing site, Black is now pulling out of school and opting for homeschooling.
Rebecca told ABC News, "When I walk by they'll start singing 'Friday' in a really nasally voice. Or, you know, they'll be like, 'Oh hey, Rebecca, guess what day it is?'"
Black's mother also said that homeschooling will give her daughter more time to focus on her career and that the family has hired Rebecca a bodyguard for additional security.
Black has also admitted to being the victim of cyber-spewed death threats. Well, without school, now everyday is Friday for Rebecca!
